How many times...
Interesting, I can't wait to get started.
About the ATF thing: I will just make sure to continually drink my brew and not get caught with 100 gallons, because how would they ever know you made that much, short of staking out this forum. I think Dateline is stuck on To Catch a Predator not To catch a Brewer.
They implant detection chips in every can of malt extract sold. They're watching....
The only time I've ever heard of it coming up was a guy in Alabama I think, where it is still illegal, was homebrewing. He said there was a local brewery and I guess the owner was a total ass, and anybody who said ANYTHING negative about him, he threatened to report their homebrewing.
True or not, I don't know. I personally would make life LIVING HELL on that brewery owner. I would have nothing against posting flames about him EVERYWHERE and telling what he does. Give him a reputation from hell. Why would a brewery owner care if a private person brews?
Still, nobody is watching. Brew 5 gallons or 3000. It doesn't matter. The ATF, FBI, CIA, NORAD, Coast Guard, and Secret Service don't care. They say the limit is 100 gallons per person, but I've never once heard of it being enforced.
The 21st amendment was passed a LONG time ago.
Well the law it won't be enforced, but if you're that guy who trys to sell it, or starts serving it up for money, trust me they'll care.
