Introduce Yourself
How do you do to all that brew, this is Army Chaplain Tony Sanders. I am deployed to Iraq, Baghdad. I should be back to our wonderful land in late November/early December 2006.
I have been without beer for a lomg, long time. I am wanting to get into home brewing upon returning to the US.
I am a Reformed Christian, we know that we do have the freedom to drink in monderation. Most all the Reformers and certinally Martin Luther dranked beer in moderation. Just did not want to confuse anyone, most denominations today don't allow for the freedom to drink, but most Presbyterians do, thank God.
I welcome your advise as a beginner brewer, blessings, Tony.
I am a homebrewer from the state of Louisiana. I have been brewing a while and I am mainly interested in Scottish Ales and Historic Beers. I am an archaeologist by trade and have become interested in Brewing Archaeology - a new field that I am founding!LOL!
Beer archeology - that sounds fascinating - keep us updated on what you find!
Is that like Indiana Jones with a beer in his hand? Where do you put the whip?

We are an ad hoc group of Zoologist at the University of Tasmania (Australia) who are brewing our own beer. Our goals are to have a good time and to learn about brewing in the process. Our 'guru' is a local fruit wine celebrity (and specialist in cave invertebrates) and he is teaching us a few things along the way.
Hello everyone, I am a newbie in here. And I have not tried brewing yet, and even try different taste of beer. The beer I've tasted is only our ordinary Beer brewed by the SMB (San Miguel Bees Company). Yeah I do love its taste. Though I am that often drinking a beer but I am interested to learn anything in brewing different taste of beer. Hope I can explore many things in here.

Hey All, I have been brewing for about 5 years now. I finally started brewing all-grain about a year ago and I haven't looked back since. I'm not knocking extract brewing, but for me, brewing all-grain seems to dramatically increase the quality of my beers. I have been going crazy with the Belgian-style lately. I just brewed a few non Belg style beers to change it up a bit. I currently have 3 batches in bottles carbonating and a Barley wine in the carboy that I just brewed up on Saturday. Cant wait till thats ready.
Cheers.
Hello!
I'm from Alaska, I've been brewing for 2 days, and I'm already hooked.
I stumbled on to this site because I looked up the word "Carboy" on google.
The first link I found was to Wikipedia, and there was a link there to BrewingKB there!
So far I appreciate the quick responses and the willingness to share the down and dirty with us newbies. So, from the bottom of my carboy, thanks!
By the way, I'm in Alaska. I cooled my first wort in the snow two days ago. ![]()
