Malts
after using all liquid malts and dry malt extracts in recipes I must say I rather use all liquid malt extracts in my brew. I didn't like using the dry extract due to extract "sticking" to the bag and my fingers due to the moister caused by the hot wort. so there, my two cents.

I have to second your theory there. I haven't made an extract beer since.... hmmm probably summer 2004. I went all grain just a few months after I began brewing.
Although, when I make starters, I have to use DME, and it does stick to the bag like to said. Very annoying, but I don't have any choice if I make a starter this way.
Personally, I hate the cleaning and waiting more. The only time I've done so much cleaning, aside from brewing, was in the military. (we won't go there)
I understand what you mean.. I too was in the military so no need to go further than that ![]()
