Next Brew!
Just wondering what everyone has planned for the remainder of the winter! Here's what's on my plate:
- Finishing my Oatmeal Stout
- Continuing to watch over my Sage Mead
- Trying several Barley Wines & seeing if I like it enough to make one for myself!
- Getting a working All-Grain system up & running!
- Spend lots of money on brewing gadgets I may not use often, but damned if they don't look cool

- Look into joining the MHBA or other HB association
- Track down a free refrigirator and start doing some lagering, or at least cold storage!
As you can see, it could end up being a pretty full winter! So what are the rest of you doing?
*Bottle the WinterHefe
*Brew a Nutbrown
*Brew my own Amber Ale Recipe
*Brew a Wee Heavy
*Brew a Barleywine for next winter
*Tweak the all-grain system
*Finally finish up the keg system 100%
So much brewing, so little fermentor space!
Haven't quite decided on what we are brewing next, but I will be getting two more friends involved in the brewing process. I may let them pick out what we brew to help get them more interested.
Next brew - two weeks from now (hopefully).
Brew a split batch, IPA using maybe whitelabs wlp023 and the notingham yeast in the other.
Getting together the brewing equipment I need till going all grain.
There is so little left of this year and since I'm just starting out I want to keep it simple.
Marv.
Kolsch, Kolsch, Pilsener, Amber Lager.
Next up will be the Dema Goddess Ale (14 - 16% ABV). After that, I was thinking that I might try cmanley's Amarillo APA.
California Common, Czech Pilsner, Brown Ale
An IPA, on Friday with my buddy and his home-grown hops. It's our Veteran's Day "Brew for Peace."
My next is a variation on a Czech pilsner, followed by a brown ale, then a Dortmunder style lager, after that refine and repeat.
