Orange Peel

I've never used a hop bag for pellets.  I would think that once the pellets start to break up they would be able to get through even a fine mesh bag, especially one of the muslin bags.  I've used a nylon mesh bag (reusable) for dry hopping with whole hops and never had an issue with sanitation.  I simply put it through the dishwasher when I'm done with it and dip it into some water with cleaner just before filling it with hops, not so much to clean it as to make it easier to get the hops in and into the neck of the carboy.

Cubx, my only issue with throwing the hops in and then not rapidly cooling the wort and letting it cool on its own through the night, is it kind of defeats the purpose of using aroma hops.  The longer your wort sits at a hot temperature, the longer it has to pull bitterness from the hops.  I just think it would be hard to gauge your actual IBU levels, at least until you figured out your system.  I'm only saying this because I've cooled my wort both ways and I definitely notice a different in hop levels.
