Reboiling you wort

I pretty much use just blow off tubes. I've had too many airlocks come off.

If you reboil it, you will definitely kill the yeast since it can't live at those temperatures, but then you can pitch fresh yeast over the top. As was stated, your gravity will probably go down a little. I wouldn't expect much.

In my mind, blow off tubes are the best way to go. They don't fall into the wort.

 

The o-ring that seals the airlock to the lid fell into the wort.  I think letting it sit is by far the better option.

 

Yes, I'd agree, but hindsight is 20/20 right?  I'm just waiting it out, I'm not sure a reboil would have solved anything that long after pitching.  This experience has definitely convinced me that I need to do a yeast starter from now on!
