Shelf Life?

Beer does have a shelf life, whether homebrew or commercial, but I don't know anybody that has ever hit it. Most people suck down their keg in a few days, or just weeks.

I don't have a quick answer to this. Although I have drank beer that has been bottled for nearly a year and it was fine, and I tapped my keg of Jubelale after 10 months (or so) and it tasted fine.

Whether the shelf life is several years, I don't know. But I have read that it won't last forever. There is no cut and dry answer, because as it was mentioned already, there are factors involved. How was it stored? Cool dry place? How high is the alcohol content?

I think you are safe to let it go at least 6 months, if not much longer.
