Slurry in empty carboy
I need to rack my Pilsner and then I was hoping to brew an Imperial Pilsner, but I can't make the brew right away. How long would you leave the slurry in an empty carboy?
Why would you not clean it right away? Are you intending to reuse the yeast? If so, you should definitely store the yeast properly in another container with a good seal, and probably in the fridge. I know there are many details to the storage and reuse of yeast, and I'm sure folks on here will respond accordingly.
