Spruce ale
I finally kegged my spruce ale that I brewed a month ago. I let it go much longer than necessary in the primary, close to 3 weeks, but I only left it in secondary about 4 days. I had only planned on 10 days in each, but it didn't hurt anything.
One batch has 1098, the other has 1275. I have only tried the 1275 batch so far.
I used spruce essence, not tips. Couldn't find the other. One thing I can definitely swear to, on the 2 oz bottle it says to only use 1 oz per 5 gallons. Definitely true! I used the whole bottle since I made 10 gallons. It has a nice aroma and you can definitely smell the essence, but it's not overpowering.
The instructions were dead on.
Very tasty stuff.
