Straining wort before fermenting
Read several ideas whether its best to strain the wort and get the solids out before fermenting.
Several people had trouble with strainers plugging and seemed to be a hassle.

Here is an easy ,quick, cheap and effective way . Get a pair of panty hose ( no tears ), tie the bottom at the legs,cut the legs off. Sterilize as any equipment used , pour the wort into the panty butt. it will sag down and hold all. Squeeze out the remaining wort and dump the junk , wash it out and reuse when needed.
A 1 or 5 gallon nylon paint strainer bag from Home Depot or Lowes will work pretty well for the idea you mentioned as well.
I used to care about straining out everything going into my fermenter but now it all gets pumped in.
