Teach a Friend to Brew Day
Wondering if anyone out there is planning on participating in the AHA sponsored "Teach a Friend to Brew Day". Here's the info:

My brew club here in Kalamazoo, MI (KLOB) will be meeting at the location in Bronson (site #4). Who else is doing it? Don't worry, I already checked, there aren't any good football games that day:

You live a little far from me for that.lol
It's a good idea though.
I'll have to send your link to a buddy of mine that brews, lol think he'll take the hint?

Probably going to participate, but still working it out. Initially I was holding a mountain biking/homebrewing event on that day, but we ended up having to move it to Sunday since Saturday the woods will be filled wth hunters.

I don't know if I missed the day, but I think I just got my cousin hooked on the idea of homebrewing. I told him to come here to check out all the info. He's helped with two batches thus far, and was impressed with the results of my previous trys. ![]()
There happens to be an event going on at a nearby historical site, and some local breweries are donating beers to be sold to raise money for the archaeologists (sp?) "Ales for Archaeology." Our club has been offered a booth to set up a demonstration, and we're looking into the legalities of giving out samples. If anybody is in the vicinity of Endview Plantation near Williamsburg, VA that day, stop by and support your local archaeologists (how many times do you get to say that?).
Cheers!

A little early for Teach a Friend to Brew Day, but this weekend, I will be showing one of my friends to brew. Should be fun.

I think I read about this in the Post, sounds familiar. I think it's a great idea and if I wasn't putting an event on the next day I'd probably shoot down. Good luck and hope you all figure out the samples thing, could be real simple, could be become a major pain. I'm planning on hitting up Mt.Vernon sometime soon here. Evidently they are bringing back the distillery and making it like Washington did back in the day. It will be interesting to watch the process.

I am not a brewer but I am interested how the beer is being made. I hope from this site Iīd learn something how a good beer made of. In Germany, they say, if a man drink no beer then, he is not a German. They have different beer trademark. And I know one that taste good.. the Ladenburger half hefeweizen beer. I donīt know in English how this is made of.
I will be taking part in "teach a friend to brew day"
I'll be the4 friend being taught to brew this weekend.
