Turn N/A beer into beer with alcohol. Possible?

Does anyone else think that the write up should be posted as an article?

I will require some instruction how to do that.

FYI, Monday is the opening day of Spring Turkey season.  I'm out of here tomorrow morning to the deep dark Northern Missouri woods.  Taking a case of 22oz'ers, too.  Back Monday, if I'm lucky, for sure Tuesday.

We'll show these Bud Light lightweights, eh!

good luck with the gobblers. tricksome devils...

Gobble, Gobble, BANG.  big_smile   I'm back early.  Can't hunt again until next Monday morning.  You can only kill one turkey during the first week.

Anyway, I'm in touch with webby on how to post this, he indicates that it would be a good article.  So, at some point we'll get it on the site.

Haven't tasted this concoction yet, & I really am not a great fan of Busch, anyway.  But I'll post a comparison between N/A, Reg Busch, & the "April Fool's Ale".  It should be carbed up by the end of the week.

Gonna pop one tonight.

A thought-  We might actually be able to make a decent beer with different fermentable sugars.

Can someone in the sand pile tell me what might be available.
Like-  Honey, brown sugar, molassas, corn sugar, Karo corn syrups, maple syrups, rice syrup, date sugar?

My net seems to be ok now.  I'll try to get this stuff on.

Well, how was it? I'm about to start. Any adjustments you suggest? Thanks

I can't wait to here about the taste either.
I am very curious about the potential oxidation factor from pouring the finished beer out.

Wondering if this beer will taste like alcoholic cardboard.

Back from the woods again, no bang this time.  The one I tried was flat, so I'll try another tonight.
I hope you got your brewer's yeast, I'm sure it will have a better flavor than the bread yeast.
Not really impressed with the taste, but I'm sure that there are unfermented sugars in the N/A verison, cause it's STRONG.

Are there any of the previously mentioned sugars available?

Thanks for the update.

For the most part I have regular white sugar and little packets of honey. I also have about 7 1/2 oz of pure maple syrup. I'm told that the honey may take longer to breakdown?

I just made some simple syrup with 1 part sugar and 1 part n/a beer. I don't think it boiled, but I also may not have let it get flat enough because it did foam up a bit. Wow, it tasted really good. It would be great over vanilla ice cream!

I did get Safale us-05 Dry Ale Yeast. Pretty psyched to get started. I plan on putting it all together today.

I'll keep you posted. Any adjustments you think I should make? I'm thinking of using a bit less sugar to adjust for the unfermented sugars in the N/A.

So, I'm drinking one of these right now.  Not my best, a sharp dry/yeasty cidery flavor, good carbonation.  Very high ABV, whoa doggies.   yikes   Prob. much better w/ brewer's yeast.  Not a brew to be pounded.   Could possibly improve the flavor w/ some different sugars.
