What is Everyones Favorite Winter Beer?

my favorite is made by a local brewery in ohio its called great lakes xmas ale I love it. Its pretty expensive though

I love winter beer season.  I make it a point to get to the alehouse and sample different offerings often.   There are some great ones here in the Pacific Northwest.  Perhaps I glorify it in my memory, but my favorite was also my first - Harpoon's winter warmer back when i lived in Boston.  Not available out here though.

I recently attended a gathering where everyone brought a favorite brew for others to sample. The one that rose to the top of my list was the Aventinus Dunkel Weizenbock. Although not a winter beer per se it really goes well with a lot of the heavy winter foods we eat at this time of year.

I'd say a dopple is the lager equivalent of a winter warmer, they're usually pretty good.

Any beer can be winterized with a shot of bourbon on the side.
