What the hell!!!
Okay, so I guess this is kind of a useless rant, but I went to the LHBS today and picked up a bottle of rasberry flavoring for my american wheat that I'm going to keg today (never used extract before). The container is 4oz, as all of them are... fine.. you know what the lable says???
USE 6-7 OZ PER 5 GALLONS!!
seem stupid to anyone else?? we don't all split up our batches into different flavored bottles.. I would think the container should be the proper amount to miz into 5 gallons!
bastards.
END RANT
You might find that 4oz is plenty raspberry flavor for you. As for the bottle recommendations, I think each flavor is a little different (2-6oz) and 4oz just happens to be a happy medium for bottling sizes.
Add 2 drops to every bottle individually.... ![]()
heh, I guess I'll transfer from the carboy to a bucket, add the stuff 1 oz at a time to see how it tastes, then when I like it, go from bucket to keg... whether or not I even use 4 oz, the lable still makes me laugh...
haha that is fantastic
I say screw the extract and dump in a handle of absolut kurant, that should just about do it.
Thirsty you psycho bastard, YOU ROCK.
It must be made for 10 gallon batches..........3*4=12.......6oz per 5 gallon = 12 oz per 10 gallon...... ![]()
