Whats a Good starter Kit?

ok ill leave the rest for another week....another ?  so i have another batch fermating...last batch i waited bout 14 days before i bottled...but since mrbeer dosent have a airlock what signs do you look for to tell its ready to be bottled...bubbles coming to top? or...

Mr beer has the airlock in the lid in the older version, and the newer ones are a passive system where even though the lid is on tight, it has small holes near the neck of the lid that let escaping co2 vent.  that being said the fermentation on such a small amount of beer is usually over in 3 days, although I would not bottle until after 14 days just to be safe.
one thing you will need  eventually is a hydrometer to get the starting gravity of your beer SG, or OG  (before you add the yeast), and the Final gravity of your beer, or FG.  your final gravity number is going to tell you when it's done, if it's at the same gravity  for 3 days it's ready.  I do not see the need to get one if your using Mr. Beer ingrediants, as they have that pretty well nailed down, however, if your are experimenting with other malts, and yeasts, I would definately get one.  You are already experiencing how detailed this hobby can be, or how easy it can be.  don't sweat the small stuff, read alot, brew alot, and you will be making beer your proud to serve.
