yeast question

I have a raspberry ale cooling down. I had planned to use safale wb06 yeast but when I looked at the date on the packet it expired in may 2009. will it still be good to use or should I go with some us04 I have instead? sites say dry yeast is good for up to 2 years after production but is the date on the packets 2 years from production or sooner?

Here's the recipe if it matters

3 1/2 gallons

3 pds light DME
.6 pds white wheat
.75 pds crystal 60L
.375 pds Munich

.7 oz mt hood 5.5 AA 60 min
.3 oz hallertau 3.7 AA 15 min

12 oz frozen raspberries last 10 min

WB06 or US04

1.049
1.009
21 IBU

DC

I would definitely use the newer yeast.  That expiration date is probably the 2 year after production date.  Or just use both packets.
