1 gallon experimental batch!
I've got some 1 gallon plastic jugs left over from my also experimental cider batch... I'm thinking of doing a one gallon mead batch in them, racking between them as need be. It's hard for me to commit the money and my equipment for months to do a full batch, but this would make it easy... only 5 or so pounds of honey and some recyclable bottles... any thoughts?
I don't know about plastic, especially for the long hall that mead requires but the guys on Basic Brewing Pod Casts make i-gallon batches for both beer and mead.
