Can heading salts be used in Nutrients

Hi!
I have been brewing beer for a few years and decided that the thought of making mead sounded interesting (and potentially addicting  ) So I got some honey and I am ready to go.
One question though: The only yeast nutrients that I could find around here say 'Yeast Nutrients and Heading Salts'
I have never used heading salts in any of the beer that I have brewed and I have only a slight understanding of what they are and what they do. My question, though, is can I use this for mead?
thanks
timothy

Check out the beverage people online they sell a Mead Nutrient Pack, bulk or 2 oz. which is for a 5 gallon batch. I've been using it for 15 years. It's excellent and I've never had a stuck or fail to start fermentation and I never rehydrate just pitch the yeast on the surface. Their mead nutrient pack is made from the scientific research in one of the old mead books. I can't recall the book name and I'm in bed so I'm not going to get up and get it.
thanks
daniel
