Quick Mead for a Wedding

HI everyone!  This is my first post, and I hope someone can help me with my dilemma.  I recently got in to brewing and offered to brew beer for my sister-in-law's wedding.  Then, after reading about mead, I had the "brilliant" idea of doing a toast of a sparkling mead instead of champagne.  Well, I've already pitched the idea to the bride and groom, and they love it, but the more reading I do the more I'm finding that time may be an issue.  The wedding is just over six months away.  I don't want to have to say to the bride, "Oh by the way, my mead idea isn't going to work."

Is there a sparkling mead recipe that can be made successfully in six months?  Any help anyone can suggest would be greatly appreciated.

Try something a little lower on the alcohol and dry maybe with a premier cuvee or champagne yeast.  Approximately 10 lbs. of honey in a 5 gallon batch should get you in the ball park.  Or an even better idea would be a sparkling cyser.  Approximately 5 gallons of cider with 2-5 pounds of honey and a highly attenuative yeast.  Even these are better with more time but its definitely possible.  Good luck and welcome!

Any access to kegging equipment?
I make low ABV (6-9%) meads all the time, back sweeten, kill the yeast & force carbonate.
Put 5 gallons on draft, it has a mild panty loosening effect.  Especially good for a wedding.
You can have a good one in 3 months.  Easy.
Sorry gals, but it's true.

Thats funny because I have a sparkling raspberry mead named panty dropper.  It has unfortunately never lived up to its name but the pomegranate one has done the trick.  Might need to have a name change.

1. I want the Raspberry, not to mention, the tried & true Pomegrante recipe.

2. There is a higher category that I have failed yet to reach, but which all homebrew guys aspire to-
The coveted LPR, Liquid Panty Remover.  But alas, it's probably only a myth.

I've  been wanting to make a mead for a long time, I think this winter will be a perfect time to start expirimenting with it.  you guys want to post the recipe for the easy mead?  I like the 3 month version idea, I hate the thought of waiting a year for something to drink

Bottled or kegged, still or sparkling, sweetened or dry?

Never heard of Liquid Panties. Edible yes, liquid no, unless the girl has a bladder problem.

bottled, still, and sweetend, and I want the pomegranite recipe. I make a good blueberry pomegranite wine from frozen juice but a mead with pomegranite would ROCK!

Well. all this just gave me an idea of trying to make a one gallon test batch of mead with blueberry pomegranite  juice in it. will follow up on progress.

But I still want that tried and true pomegranite mead recipe if possible.

how about a recipe for a bottled sparkling dry to semi sweet mead?

Unfortunately I don't have access to draft equipment, so I'll have to bottle it.

Are you ok with a still (not carbonated) product?

DC- The "Liquid" is in the keg/bottle, not the panties.
The panties are theoretically liquefied by the effect of the contents thereof.
Duh!  roll
Besides, I would imagine that liquid panties could be difficult to keep in place, anyway.

"Still" isn't really my first choice because this is supposed to be a substitute for the champagne toast, but if still is going to get me a better mead in less time,  I'll certainly consider it.
