WY2308 yeast
Hi Dears!
A number of months ago I decided to freeze samples of my yeast bank and to use them later.
Well the time has come. I took out the tube of frozen yeast, thawed and pitched it into a small starter. A day later and yeast is on the bottom of my flask. I bumped it up with more worth and nutrient and got an active ferment, complete with Krause. I just now have bumped it up further to about a quart and will go to a gallon starter for my WY2308 yeast.
I am going to use the same basic recipe for two brews but with different yeast. One will get the WY2308 starter and one will get a pack of salvager S-23.
