Bridgeport Black Strap Stout

Just sounding off on this great beer I tried recently, great dark roasted malt flavor and aroma, there is also some molasses in it too but I couldn't really pick it up.  Very smooth also.  Man I'm getting thirsty now.

Haven't tried it (kinda have limited selections in Utah) but have tried their IPA and it's one of my favorites.

Yeah, the IPA was the first(and only) Bridgeport beer I had ever tried, not too shabby.  If you like a good rich/smooth stout this is it, I was surprised at how good it was.

Looked for this last night and wasn't able to find it.  We have their IPA and Blue Heron brews, but no Black Strap, at least for the moment.  sad

Blue Heron? What style is that?

Its a Pale Ale.  Not usually too much of a fan of them, but this one is pretty darn good.  Very drinkable and smooth.

So I went to the Bridgeport website and to make a long story short, I now have a fridge full of their ESB and Ebeneezer Ales.. both are awesome, especially the Ebeneezer ale. It's great discovering new beers.
