Pet peave # 764
When your local brew buddy tells you "its not quite ready", and you ask a week later, and its gone!
Here is a more recent one.
Anybody who only checks their email once every week or DOESN'T REPLY. Oh my god do I hate that! If you only check your email weekly or bi-weekly, WHY THE HELL DO YOU EVEN HAVE IT? Now I only check my USPS mail every few days, the longest I have ever gone was 4 (usually less), and I can understand not checking it daily, but my god, check it at least every 2 days.
Even better, own a business, offer your email for correspondence, THEN NEVER REPLY! That is an excellent way to lose business! A former co-worker said to never depend on email for business relations. Yeah ok fine, but ya know what, DON'T OFFER IT THEN!! If you don't want someone calling you, don't give out your damn phone number! If you are email impaired, then don't give your email address to others!
So any business owners here, if you just can't grasp this thing called email and assume everybody should call you for business, then don't give it out.
I'm very serious about replies. It just pisses me off when I write a message and clearly want a reply, yet either never get it, or it takes 2 weeks. Excellent way to lose my business indefinitely.
I have a surprise for you business owners: some of us might not be able to call from work and you are closed when I can, so I rely on email, but you obviously don't need the business since you don't reply!
"My bad", I HATE when someone, especially an adult, says that!
Let's see getting a reply.
CUBX WROTE I'm very serious about replies. It just pisses me off when I write a message and clearly want a reply, yet either never get it, or it takes 2 weeks
When someone tries to reply and has no email and a full message inbox and takes the time to reply over a 2 week period and the person just doesn't care that someone took the time to reply. Why the hell ask!!
Too (insert naughty word here) funny Dartgod!!!

That's kinda funny. The thing is, I send and receive mail here all the time from webby, and not one single time have I had any problems with a full mailbox.
Although in fairness, I never asked for a recipe, I said I needed to find one.

Brewer
Saturday is a volunteer day for me. Sunday is my first chocolate stout. I'm debating on making a mocha vanilla porter next time. I had one at a local brewery last December and loved it. Just need to find a recipe for it though.
I take that as asking in a forum setting. I took it that you didn't lose it in your desk or car!

Yes, I read my original message before I replied, so I am aware of it. For whatever reason, webby is able to send me messages.
As for the asking, well, I can understand why you feel that way. If I am asking for something, I will make it blatant obvious and say "does anybody have this?". The way I worded that, I was simply saying I needed to find one, which I found the same day. I have no problem looking for recipes.
But I think it is better to post recipes for all to see rather than keep them private.
I appreciate the help though!

!
I disagree, the person that designed the receipe (if it's your own) should be able to share with whoever he/she wants, not a whole community. Maybe I'm just being silly. But I'm sure the receipe in question was a clone though huh?
Cheers!!!!!
