1st Non-Kit Brew-Advice

This is what I'm thinking about doing for my first non-kit brew.  I would like to get advice, comments and ect...Thanks in advance.

1.00 lb Wheat Malt, Ger
3.00 lb Light Dry Extract
6.60 lb Wheat Liquid Extract
1.50 oz Hallertauer -60min
0.50 oz Hallertauer 5min
2.00 oz Lemon
2.00 lb Honey
1 Pkgs American White Ale (Brewtek #CL-0980) Yeast-Wheat

I like that sounds good!

For the lemon, are you talking peel? try not to get any white pith in there, its nasty.

Could I suggest maybe just a tich of corriander and/or seeds of paradise? Just a suggetion. Looks great the way it is already.

For the lemon, I'm thinking peel and extract.

I've found that lemon extract is hard to measure correctly, and can sometiems vary in strength...sometimes resulting in a shitty final product with waaay too much lemon...I'd say go with just peel, and like Thirsty mentioned, no pith.  That's worse than extract overuse...

And +1 on the coriander.  I love coriander.  I put 2 ounces in one batch last year!  It was fantastic, at least to me......but in the more realistic sense, maybe a tablespoon of each, coriander and seeds of paradise.  Added last 20 minutes of the boil....

other than that, I'll also say it looks like a pretty good recipe...
