All-Summit IPA
Hello,
I seem to recall someone here brewing an all-summit IPA a while back. Wanting to know if there are any results to speak of?
I want to do it this weekend. Thinking along the lines of a 1.065, a half-ounce at 60, and half ounce at 20, and an ounce at flameout. Prom ash is saying about 42 Ibos.
As far as the malt bill, I'm not sure exactly yet, but thinking about 10lb pale, 2lb Vienna, and a pound of 80L. Yeast, 1272.
Sound yummy to anyone else?
The fruitiness really stands out. More like tangerine than orange. A lot of people that have tried it say it's too fruity. The onion flavor that was there at first has dissipated to a level I find hard to taste. Overall a pretty good IPA.
All the Best
