Another Rice Beer......

Still chuggin along a bubble every 4 seconds through a 7/8ID blow off line.

 

Racked to secondary last night.  Will let it set until the weekend and bottle.

 

In the bottle.  Final gravity was dissapointing.  Finishing out at 1.024.  Makes it a 5.9% brew.  I was hoping for more but I guess it stalled out.

 

Poped a bottle today.  Even with this short of a bottle condition time it has carbed up descently.  It has a pleseant grain like taste.  Finishes of smooth but after the swallow is down you exhale jet exhaust.

Will try this one again with more hops.  Got closer this time.  Might I add that the caramel like finish (from the brown sugar) is oh so nice.  I may do this with Anchor Steam yeast while conditions are still cool enough to lager.

 

more Corriander and no orange peel as well.
