Beer for the lady

Hey, I gotta request..

I am on the look for another recipe to please the ol' lady, and it's not too easy to do with beer. here are the criteria

No wheat beers
no hoppy beers
lighter(color) is better
no roasty beers

I know, quite strict. But I was curious if there are any other recipes you know of that work for this cause?

Oh and only ales, don't have the means to lager just yet. I think that alone will solve a lot of problems.

How about a nice Kolsch beer?

A guy from my brew club had a kolsch at the meeting today...mmm...light, yet flavorful.

good idea, I will look into that.  Thanks

how about a milk stout?

i dont know if that counts as roasty but its tasty

Here is a recipe for a really light ale that has very little hops. My mom doesn't like beer but she drinks this.

For 5 gallons

3 lbs. Laaglander Dry Malt Extract
1.5 lbs. Honey
.25 oz cascade 60 minutes
.25 oz cascade 30 minutes
.5 oz cascade steep (end of boil)
1 tsp. Gypsum (start of boil)
1 tsp. Irish Moss 15 minutes
Wyeast #1056 Smack pak or White Labs WLP001

1 week primary 70 degrees
2 weeks secondary 70 degrees

bottle with 4 oz priming sugar

condition in bottle 2 weeks

I am assuming that the cascade is being used for aroma AND bittering?

Bittering, flavor, and aroma...hence the 60 minute, 30 minute, and 0 minute additions.
