I kegged and bottled the latest IPA batch tonight. My wife said she liked what she tasted, but we'll find out in a week if this is any good.
Alright, alright. Just thought this would be good to add to this thread, don't want to sound too arrogant, BUT!
Just took 1st place with this original version in the Upper Mississippi Mash Out! http://mashout.blogspot.com/2009/01/win … bbels.html I am going f-en nuts right now! They did their results in realtime on their blogspot, and I almost shit when i saw the results come up. I've got another round going into the BHC, now my hopes are really high. Other 3 entries didnt place, but for 820 total entries, I am thankful to get A ribbon with the fierce competition, let alone a first! All nighter tonight, goin ice fishin at 6 in the morn, no need for sleep. Woo-hoo!!!
Thirsty!!! WTF!! First I hear you get tix, then you win 1st at the UMMO!?!? Holy Crap man, what a friggen day for you brotha! You gots to save me a sample of this stuff! I'm putting a porter I have ready in the BHC, maybe a crappy pale to confuse some judges.....
