Bottling vs kegging. Pros and Cons
Just curious as I have yet to keg only bottle. Just looking for why people choose one or the other.
Storing/cleaning/sanitizing/filling/capping 50 bottles vs. 1 5-gallon keg.
On the flip side
Sharing/gift-giving/competitions/transporting one or more bottles vs. hauling a 3 or 5-gallon keg.
Pick which best suits your needs.
To me, kegging is just way easier and quicker, but the initial investment is hard to deal with. On the down side, kind of, I now go through way more beer than I ever did bottling. Just means that I got to brew more.
