Brewer's Best Beer Kits
What do you think of Brewer's Best beer Kits?I;m in the process of making my first homebrew and am making the Ipa Kit.
I think that is a fine place to start.
Good luck and ask question as you feel needed.
Welcome to the hobby.

I agree! Start with the kits to learn the process the move up as you see fit. Follow the directions and the kits will turn out great!
Thanks for the friendly replies.Seems to me that patience is a very hard thing, especially when doing your first homebrew.I'm thinking that i'm now about halfway through the process, lol.I've had the IPA in the secondary fermenter for a week now, after having it in primary for a week, and am going to bottle at the weekend.Read somewhere that 1 week in primary,2 weeks in secondary and 3 weeks in bottles and then beer should be ready to drink. Would everybody agree with that timescale? Just wish it could be quicker getting thirsty lol.

When first starting out that time scale works just fine.
I tend to do primary for 10-14 days, then no secondary and right to bottle.
I can get carbonation in 10 days too. So my process isn't quite 1,2,3. But its a good place to start and then get a feel for what works for you.
My first beer was also the Brewer's Best IPA kit. Turned out great. I'm actually drinking it right now and it tastes delicious. Let us know how it turns out. Good luck and welcome to this wonderful and rewarding hobby!
I tend to go at least 2 weeks in the primary if I'm not using a secondary. If I am using a secondary then it's 1-2 weeks in the primary, 2-4 weeks in the secondary. And I think waiting 4 weeks after bottling is best. You might have carbonation after 1-2 weeks, but it greatly improves after 4. I honestly believe that it could use the extra conditioning time too.
