Carastan Bitter
I'm brewing this right now. The mash is done and in the kettle just waiting for the boil to start.
I put this recipe together to get a taste of Carastan malt. Its supposed to be a real toffee like driver of maltiness. So we'll see how it comes out.
The base beer here is a Best Bitter.
9.5# Maris Otter
0.75# Carastan
0.5# Crystal 60L
1.75oz EKG 60min
0.5oz OKG 20min
12gram Gypsum

WLP013 London Ale Yeast (no starter straight pitch).
