chocolate sauce in primary
New to home brew. Tried to be a little creative with my latest porter batch and added about 5oz of regular hersheys chocolate sauce to primary. It dawned on me today that the chocolate sauce says to refridgerate after opening. I took a couple theif swigs and didn;t notice any foul taste or anything, it was actually pretty good. Just wondering if anyone knows anything here. I'm a little concerned that the chocolate sauce will go bad and make someone sick.
no worries nothing harmfull will survive in beer. sugers will ferment out and the rest will add to color aroma etc.
