Chocolate Stout (Part-Extract)
4lb of Dark Liquid Extract
1.5 lb Extra Dark Malt (dry) extract
1lb Chocolate Muttons
1lb Dark Crystal
1oz unsweetened baking chocolate
2oz ground coffee (dark roast)
3oz dark oak chips
Steps:
Boil water ~ 200degrees
add your grains & steep for 40 minutes
re-boil water
Add extracts, coffee, chocolate. & boil for 10 minutes
Cool to 80ish, move to carboy, add oak chips & pack of ale yeast.
Primary ferment for 2 weeks, and secondary rack for another 2 weeks.
Keg or Bottle.
