clone schmone! Anything good for the Nov Dec months?
any good recipes you fellow brewers have for Nov or Dec. Perhaps a lil cinnamon or fresh pumpkin spice?
I lean a little more towards dark german lagers in the cooler months such as dunkels and bocks. Of course porters and stouts are good this time of year as well as oak aged beers. Getting ready to brew my first Baltic Porter.
If you do choose to go with a spiced beer use the spices very sparingly, especially cinnamon, as it seems to become very sharp. Nutmeg can be a decent addition if you're into that sort of thing.
My Vanilla Bourbon Porter is ready to go... wonderful. Looking forward to my Imperial Stout, which I brewed in July. My first recipe, too.
