DJ Gray's Gray P.A.

With Brewchez' prompting I've decided to come out my shell a little and share this recipe. Hope you like!

Gray P.A.

            .25 oz. Chinook (aroma)

I used Safale's Chico strain (Safale US-56) but will probably use a comparable liquid yeast next time.

There it is. Pretty simple. And I'm kinda proud of it. My first competition entry and it gained me a score of 34.3 and got me a mini-BOS nod. Maybe I'll update later with any mods but I think it's pretty good as it is. Hope you do too.

I should try this actually.  I have never done something with a "fun" hopping schedule like that and I am looking for an American Pale Ale sort of thing.

I have also been wanting to do an extract recipe again...you know let the mash-tun sit one out.

Good looking recipe DJgray.  Thanks for sharing.

DJgray - this looks good.  I may have to add this to the list.  I haven't played much with chinook hops.  Looks like a fun recipe.
