Dunkel Weissbier
Hey Guys,
I am planning to brew the following tomorrow and am looking for any suggestions on this recipe:
3 kg Wheat Malt
500 gms Munich Malt
500 gms Crystal Malt
100 gms Black Malt
100 gms Chocolate Malt
100 gms Flaked Barley
I will also being using Saaz Hops and Dried Nottingham Yeast.
I am also thinking of including 500 gms of Rauch Malt (Smoked Malt) and are looking for your opinions on this.

What are you aiming for fellow alton brewer? I’d be tempted to use a quarter of what you've listed for the black and chocolate malts and the smoked malt is down to taste, but still looks very high for most palates at that level. All the best, let me know which way you decide to go.
