Fox River Ale

Hello All,

For what it's worth, the recipe on here is not exactly right, and I can't seem to get it correct for a few different reasons...  Here’s some corrections though:
Extra Light DME, not Light
5oz of Centennial Pellets @ 8.5% AA
1 oz @60 min
1.5 oz spread evenly from 15-0 min
.5 oz at flameout
2 oz dry-hop
Danstar Nottingham dry yeast
This is my second ever batch of beer, and the recipe was developed with the help of Karl at the Red Salamander in Grand Ledge

would you be willing to correct this recipe for me? This was added before the bug with multiple ingredients of same type was fixed, and I would like the hop schedule to be right! The correct schedule is in the description and directions. I would very much appreciate it if you did!

Thanks!!!

david,

I started drinking this brew over the weekend. Oh this is some good stuff! Not as juicy hoppy as Two-Hearted, but it's got great aroma and flavor from the hops. Malts are just where they need to be, light and bready, just a hint of sweet.
I started brewing another child for this weekend as well. Basically same recipe but with Crystal 10L, Centennial for Bittering, and a 50/50 mix of Cascade and Centennial for aroma/flavor/dry hop. It's being brewed for my girlfriend, and as soon as she thinks of a name, I'll add it on here!

Good Luck!!!
