Good Altbier Recipe?
Despite what my signature below says, I think I want to brew a nice Altbier, sort of like a Long Trail Ale. Has anyone brewed one that they like or know of a good recipe (partial grain)?
The only altbier I have ever had was Widmer Alt. I personally did not like it at all.
I didn't find a clone recipe, but I did find some all grain recipes. Apparently nobody wanted to post an extract version.

I actually found an extract recipe http://www.cchomebrew.com/Recipes/germa … recipe.htm that I used. I was inspired to do an altbier because I love Long Trail ale, which is a variation on an altbier. I would like to see how it comes out and how I can make any modifications.
BTW, this recipe was pretty expensive... ingredients ran me about $50.
