Heavy Scottish/American Ale hybrid Idea

I was thinking of making another Arrogant Bastard clone, using a different grain bill, which would look something like this:
11.5lb 2-Row
.5 lb Special-B  147L
.5 lb Biscuit  24L
.5 lb Aromatic  19L
.5 lb CaraMunich  47L

1 oz Chinook 11% AA  75 min
1 oz Chinook 11% AA  45 min
1 oz Chinook 11% AA  aroma
Yeast- WLP001

My idea would be to take 1-1.5 gallons from the first running, reduce this to around 1qt, similar to what was done in the winter brew. It would add an additional caramel taste that sound pretty good.
Any thoughts or ideas?

Thanks Guy-

It will add a caramel flavor but in the winter brew I didn't get the level of caramel I was hoping for.  However maybe you'll be OK with the pound of caramel malts you're using.

Next time I do a Scottish style beer I'm going to boil down a larger portion of my runnings... maybe even the entire first runnings and just sparge with a couple more gallons to make up the volume.

Hmm Ok, thanks for the input! Do you think the combination of heavy caramel, coupled with the heavy hop character will mesh O.K., and not turn into something 'interesting'?
