Holiday Ale questions

Check the stem of your airlock.  There might be a plastic "X" at the opening.  I cut all those out of my airlocks so there's absolutely nothing getting in the way to possibly cause a blockage.  I also use Fermcap - S to keep my krausen at bay.

+1 for fermenting cool.  Bigger fermentations throw off more heat.  Personally, I'd try to keep it below 68.

What the heck is with that???

Some of them aren't even well cleared of flash and spru plastic from the molding, so you need to clear the holes out anyway!
