How to use Oregon Chai concentrate?
I have a coffee shop and have which has those gallon and a half boxes of Oregon Chai concentrate.
Sweet spicy honey goodness.
You see where I'm going with this? I'm thinking of buying a gallon container and trying it out.
Problem is, I've noticed people mention certain things to look out for in store bought juices, additives that inhibit fermentation... what should I be looking out for?
Thanks
Mitchell
i kinda hate bringing up such an old post but i was browsing the archived recipes and came across this. i actually had this same train of thought today while enjoying a chai. any applications that you guys know of?
At first I thought to myself, this is a crazy idea. Then I said, don't be so quick to judge.
Then I had what I thought was a brilliant idea...so don't share it.
Ok so I thought better.
What about adding this to a 4 gallons of stout, or better yet an Oatmeal Stout. If you made a stronger than normal Oatmeal Stout so you could dilute it with one gallon of this Chai mixture ( I assume a lot of it would ferment out) it might be a good mix of flavors.
Thats the best I can come up with...
Ok that or maybe in that chocolate porter I keep boasting about.
