that jager taste may be the bog myrtle shining through, i was told it gives i very herby / medicinal flavor.
Tried another today and i retract my statement. This crap is horrible. Down the drain it goes.

That sounds like the same results I had on my Wormwood beer. After attempting a Yarrow (with halfway decent results) I recently tried Wormwood as a bittering agent. YIKES! It could choke a horse. I even tried to dry hop a bit of it to mask the wormwood flavor. No dice. Now I know why you pour absynthe over sugar cubes.....
