Porter Americana recipe

This is an American Porter that is somewhat similar to Anchor porter.

Batch size: 6 gallons
Efficiency:  75%
OG:   1.055
IBU: 40
SRM: 35

10.00 lb US or UK 2 row
1.25 lb Munich
9 oz Black Patent
9 oz Chocolate Malt
9 oz Crystal 40L

.93 oz Phoenix (10.00%AA) - 60 min
.55 oz Cascade (5.9%AA) - 15 min
.55 oz Cascade (5.9%AA) - 1 min

Wyeast 1056

Mash at 154F for 60 min
Ferment at 66

Extract Option: Substitute the 10lb 2 row for 7.25 lb Light Dry Malt Extract

Notes: Next time I brew this I'll probably end up dropping the last hops addition.  Give this beer time to mellow after bottling or kegging.  There's a strange clashing of flavors between the roasted malts and the Cascades when the beer is green but once these flavors meld, this is a very tasty beer.

Does this recipe have that really great smoothness that Anchor porter does?

Actually, I think I am talking about Sierra Nevada Porter......
Yeah never mind.
I'll go find some Anchor porter this weekend.
