Recipe Help?
Hello-
My husband has done one batch of homebrew and loved it. (it was a raspberry beer) We are military, and he did this at our last station in Alaska, and I haven't been able to find his recipes since we moved. He will be coming home from the war soon, and he said the first thing he wants to do is start another batch. I am wanting to have a good easy recipe here for him, as well as all of the ingredients. What is an easy, yet good recipe that you would suggest? Then could I have an "idiots guide to buying the ingredients" ? After all this time deployed and beerless, I know it will mean a lot to him. Thanks for any help!
You can find raspberry wheat beer recipes by typing that in on a search engine. As far as ingredients you can order those from online suppliers or get them from your local homebrew supply. I use midwest homebrew supply.

Also check out www.morebeer.com there prices are good, and they have ready to go kits for beer. You should check for a local home brew store "LHBS". Depending where your posted, I'll bet there is one realitivly nearby. You might try a Heff (wheat beer), or go extra simple, and do a straight amber ale. Any recpie you pick will be a good one. Good luck
midwest supplies also has a raspberry red kit that is very good as well. I recomend the red over the wheat but the choice is yours. Thank your husband for serving our country!!
