The cream ale got an over all score of 29. Not bad, most of the comments where that it was just a normal beer, and nothing really stood out. That's ok, as this was supposed to be a good drinking beer. Might have been the 6 row I used in this one. Great aroma scores, and appearence but flavor score was low 11 out of 20
The Grad Cru got a 34. Pretty respectable I'd say, as this was my first All Grain batch ever. I'll take the comments and work with them, on judge said there was to much corriander, and the other said there wasn't enough, things like that. Again great overall scores, but flavor was low 14 out of 20.
So I'll keep perfecting, and do better next time around, all and all, i'm very pleased with my first contest ever.
Excellent. But one of the "recent" rules of the site are if a beer you make entered into a contest gets a score of over 25 you must post the recipe here.![]()

Yea, if you want them, I'll pull them together, and post again, although I think I posted them already. I wish I had had my Plate chiller when I made these, I think I would have done better.
Good job man! Now you know more, and have better equipment so next time will bring more success for sure.....
