Special Summer Ale

Hello,

Well the recipe is finalized now, mainly b/c I just ordered the ingredients from more beer!!
I went with the glacier b/c I decided I wanted something smooth and low cohumulone, and Glacier just fit the AA% I wanted, and I like them! I actually just ordered a pound of them!

Regards!!!

Hi,

I'm having a hard time deciding how much of each malt to use. I ordered the grains by the pound (smallest possible on Morebeer.com) so I have a total of a pound of 20L, and a pound of Honey Malt, and I think I'm going to go ahead and use the full 2lbs rather than just half. But I don't really want an OG much above 1.070, and 1.065 or so would be preferable. Maybe even 1.055! So I'm going to reduce my LME a bit, but I don't know how much!
Either way, I'm going to have enough leftover fermentable for about jack squat.
But who knows, maybe I'll make a 1/2 or 1 gallon batch of beer? Could be an interesting experiment...

No. Never mind. Too much work for too little pay-off!!
I'll use both pounds of grain, and have some leftover LME. No problems there! Maybe I'll need some extract for a starter sometime?

Hickk!!!
