St. Patty's Brew

Just out of curiosity-
Anybody got anything going for the Irish this month?

I did a dry stout & an Irish Red using some red rice I got at the asian market.
Not exactly kosher, but WTF.

I have a keg of green Bud Light sitting in the kegerator.

Haha just kidding.  I don't have any dry stouts or Irish reds right now but I do have a collection of dark beers ready to go - Imperial Stout, Oatmeal Stout, Robust Porter and a different Robust porter with a little 12 year Jameson Whiskey added to it.

I had a murphys irish stout at old chicago last night and really liked it. So I'm thinking of making a clone of it. Need to do it this weekend. will be moving in april and will need to pack things up and i'd like to have the beer bottled by then.

I wish that I had brewed an Irish Red or something, but unfortunately the only beer I expect to have available is a bourbon barrel aged Dubbel that a few buddies from my club and I worked on.  So it'll be Belgian beer for St. Patty's day.

I had to take a break from brewing for a couple of months due to a lack of funds.  I've been laid off for over a year and the wife is pregnant, so there wasn't a lot of cash to go around.  I've got a little bit of money now, so I'm back to brewing.  Hopefully I'll be able to brew something for St. Patty's day next year.
