Watney's Cream Stout

Anyone with a Watney's Cream Stout clone recipe?

http://www.midwestsupplies.com/watknee- … ney-s.html

Thats awesome!  I had this printed out and sitting next to my computer gonna go down to my LBHS and pick the stuff up this week.

Watneys Cream Stout - All Grain

   7.5 LB Pale Ale
   .75 LB 60L
   .25 LB Black Roasted Barley
   .75 LB Chocolate Malt
   .25 LB Flaked Barley
   .50 LB Malto Dextrin

    1.50 OZ Glacier (60 min)

    WLP005

    5 Gal batch

This is an all grain recipe but if you need me to I can convert it for you.  A friend came up with the rec and I have yet to brew it but it looks about right.  I was going to double the Flaked Barley and switch it out for Oats and and have a creamy Oatmeal Stout

thanks alot, both are helpful and I may try th kit first...I am a newbie...If the grain recipe is convertable to one that uses more canned stuff etc...that would be great....

Are you doing extract only or could you take a "small step for mankind" and move up to doing a mini mash?  They're really easy I promise.

anyway here's a link for somewhere else that has it

Why not just order the midwest kit and start form there.
Regardless, midwest has the recipe right there too.
