What's your favorite commercially produced beer?
Have you ever tried to copy it when doing homebrew?
I quite like real ale, especially Greene King. I have never tried to make it, though I once saw a recipe for it.
I could use some recommendations of American beer. Back in New Zealand I loved Macks Black which is a dark ale. I have tried many beers here but they are often too sweet from me, light and sometimes overly hoppy. I have tried Guiness but IMHO it doesn't really travel well. Can anyone suggest a dark ale I can get in Indiana?
If I could brew my own Stella Artois or Le Fin de Monde, I'd save a lot of money!
I drink mostly low carb (2.5) beer. I also like Alexander Keith's brewed in Nova Scotia. I've really enjoyed Coors from the US, and in colder weather I sometimes switch to Guiness.
Sorry rattitude, I'm not familiar with brews in Indiana.
Rattitude - I don't know if you can get it, but Summit makes some pretty good beers, although it may not be what you are looking for.
Now that I think about it, have you tried Mississippi Mud? That's a really good dark beer.
