Fancy beer glasses
Hey Guys
I have a hobby of collecting fancy beer glasses. No particular type in mind, I want to start building up a collection of different types. I don't want any with logos on them.
Can anyone list some good places to buy beer glasses? I'll buy online too.
Thanks
Kai
Borrow mine from various establishments.....
Have lovely Stella, hoegaarden glasses and a few regular schooners.
The hoegaarden is fantastic for holding head.
I'm going to give them back when I've finished with them!!!
Seriously though if you look in the yellow pages under bar accessories you show find one of those shops that sell everything for your bar and they will have them. I'm sure if you google it something will come up.
Thanks
Pablo
I got six crystal pot glasses from HOUSE last year for $30. They are really easy to clean (ok in dishwasher), and they are good for homebrew because the sediment collects in a pointy bit in the bottom of the glass.
House also had some good pints and other stuff.
That said, by far the best one I have is the pewter beer mug my girlfriend gave me for my birthday last year.
Thanks
Randy
Have you searched eBay? There seems to be a large selection of Breweriana merchandise available. Cheers!

Good suggestion! My wife has been really getting into eBay lately...
BTW, welcome to the forums - hope to see you around!
I'm a casual collector of beer glasses myself.
I have some interesting glasses from garage sales that are nostalgic, but were inexpensive.
Hey pablo, when you "borrow" glasses with logos you're actually "advertising" for the companies, right?
Haha That's funny. But when I went to the beer tent I had to buy my beer mug for 5 dollars and it came with a ticket for one refill of any of the beers in the tent.
I winded up drinking some Silver Creek brew, very dark and chewy. hehe
I don't collect them, but my fav is a mug that was given to me by my fav barmaid.
She gave it to me as a gift, the bar was going out of business.
Still have, still drink out of it....
Miss that ol' place.

Or do you miss the Barmaid?
I've got a small collection consisting mainly of family beer mugs, pint glasses, and steins. I come from a long line of avid beer drinkers! ![]()

lol a little bit of both I guess.

I've been collecting (legally purchasing) glasses from many of the local breweries and brewpubs also glassware from foreign breweries when ever i can find them when i travel. Right now they sit on top of the cabinets in the kitchen. it drives my wife nuts, lol, thats where they will sit till i have a better place to display them. I have a goal of finishing of my basement and creating my own mantown.
When you finish your basement make sure you set it up with a nice bar. A few taps and some nice carpentry would go a long way in my basement.
thats the plan
I've completely taken over our basement, half gym and half bar. A local liquor store here sells the logoed pint glasses that the breweries sell for $4-5 for $1.25, so I grab a few everytime I'm in (they have a 50 foot wall of them in the store). They're slowly making there way around my basement.
