Medical Oxygen
Is anyone interested in a medical oxygen tank with regulator? It's filled, so if your in MN it would be great - $65.
I would love one, but not in MN. Where did you originally buy it from? I have been considering upgrading to medical O and an airstone. I wouldn't dare use an airstone without the stored oxygen.
FYI re: medical oxygen. A little known fact is the medical oxygen and oxygen used in welding and metal cutting is the same quality. On a refill trip to Airgas is spoke to the operation manager on this subject. The only diff is the bottle and regulators used in hospitals. I've used oxygen from my home oxg/acetelene (sp) setup for years and have never had a problem traced to this pratice. Right now, I used a 5 lbs oxygen bottle with a two-stage regulator, feeding a S.S. carb. stone. I would only caution that a brewer use a new/clean bottle and sanitize the hoses/attachments prior to each use.
Cheers,
